campus cable carDec 2022
This architectural project aimed to address the traffic challenges and geographical considerations around my school. The primary objective was to alleviate the commuting difficulties faced by students navigating the mountainous terrain, especially during inclement weather conditions such as heavy snow and frost.

Through a comprehensive analysis of various public transportation options within the city, I identified the cable car as an optimal solution due to its safety and resilience to adverse weather conditions, all while minimizing ground space usage.
The strategically positioned cable car stations on the roofs of two campus dormitory buildings—one at the hill's summit and the other at the base—cover the most frequently traveled routes.

The following outlines my platform design, taking into consideration the architectural elements of one of the dormitory buildings and aligning with the mobility patterns of the students.

To illustrate the proposed solution, I utilised Solidworks and Keyshot to generate demonstration drawings.
